FAA Summer Intensive
At this college-level program you will become part of a creative community of talented and serious artists from diverse backgrounds. The FAA Summer Intensive provides a perfect platform for high school students (rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors) who want to get a taste of life as a college student and explore the arts. We will be offering Art and Design, Dance, and Theatre tracks.
Discover Architecture
Discover Architecture introduces high school students to the study of architecture through exposure to the school’s different program areas. Professors introduce the students to their own work, what design thinking is all about, the different skills needed to be successful in architecture, and how each contributes to an overall architectural education. Discover Architecture is focused not only on helping prospective students decide if they want to pursue architecture as a profession but also on giving students new to architecture a look into a unique undergraduate experience.
Illinois Summer Youth Music
For more than 60 years, Illinois Summer Youth Music (ISYM) has helped young musicians improve their artistry, strengthen their self-confidence, and embark on professional careers. Junior and senior high school students perform with large band, orchestra, chorus, and jazz ensembles or attend intensive, specialized instrumental programs. Students return home with newly developed skills, a lifelong sense of discipline, and in-depth training.
